Sana Doumet is a metalsmith and jewelry artist working from her studio in Clearwater, Florida. Her pieces are shaped entirely by hand in sterling silver and 18k gold — no casting, no mass production, no two pieces exactly alike.
Each collection draws from a different visual language: the organic geometry of African textile patterns, the luminous curves of moonlight on water, the kinetic energy of lines in motion. The constant is the material and the method — precious metal, shaped at the bench, finished to wear.
Every piece begins as flat sheet metal — sterling silver, sometimes with a layer of 18k gold. Using traditional metalsmithing techniques — sawing, filing, forming, soldering, and finishing — Sana transforms the sheet into three-dimensional wearable sculpture. There are no molds, no shortcuts. Each piece carries the marks of the hand that made it.
Sana exhibits at juried art shows and craft fairs throughout Florida and the Southeast. Visit the events page for upcoming shows where you can see the work in person and meet the artist.
